Rathke’s cleft cysts, arachnoid cysts and epidermoid and dermoid cysts are the more common examples of these lesions. Empty sella can be an anatomical variation or develop later on and is evaluated under the same subject. Treatment approaches to sellar and parasellar cystic lesions depend on the symptoms and the anatomopathological structure of the lesion.
