Simultaneous occurrence of a glial tumor and a vascular lesion, especially arteriovenous malformation (AVM), is extremely rare. Such a situation may be presented in three forms: Co-existent lesions in different locations, both pathologies mixed together as if one lesion and lesions appearing in the same location after a certain period of time. In this article, the authors report a male patient who has been operated for an AVM located in the left parietal lobe 24 years ago. The patient has presented with hemorrhage in the same region with clinical symptomatology. He underwent surgery using the previous craniotomy and histopathological diagnosis of the lesion removed totally was glioblastoma.
