1Selçuk Üniversitesi, Tıp Fakültesi, Beyin ve Sinir Cerrahisi Anabilim Dalı, Konya, Türkiye The subarachnoid hemorrhage morbidity rates continue at the same level although the mortality rates have begun to decrease with current developments. Consequently, patients develop not only physical but also cognitive and psychological dysfunction. Rehabilitation attempts to correct these disabilities in the patient. Although the general idea of rehabilitation is to start after the treatment, many factors in the process before rehabilitation begins can affect its success. The rehabilitation process that actually begins with the occurrence of subarachnoid hemorrhage should therefore aim to reduce the patient"s dependency as soon as possible by minimizing the dysfunctions that may occur. The quality of life of the patients should be increased with rehabilitation treatment taking this aim into account. Anahtar Kelimeler : Cognitive, Rehabilitation, Subarachnoid hemorrhage
