The practice of neurosurgery and education is a challenging process that is repeatedly reinforced by the need for continuity. There is an undeniable link between patient safety and education in this process. Today, technological advances that are advancing rapidly contribute to our surgical practice as well as contributing to our surgical education process. Emerging modeling techniques will have an important place in our surgical education. With the advent of technology, physical and virtual models have been increasingly used in neurosurgical training and practice. These models allows for achieving training objectives and consolidating surgical skills by repetitive practice of surgical procedures in a safe environment. The practice of modeling before the practice in real life, especially if the surgeons are not experienced enough or if the surgical techniques have a high degree of risk, will provide the physician with the necessary physical and mental preparation. This article will review the neurosurgical models and their contributions to the neurosurgical education and practice. Anahtar Kelimeler : Surgery, Education, Module, Training, Simulation
