The popularity of robotic surgery showed an immense increase recently. This affinity is due to the minimal invasiveness of this method, which hypothetically facilitates fewer complications, shorter hospital stay, and better cosmetic results. This article focuses on up-to-date literature data about robotic surgery applications in neurosurgery and discusses its advantages and problems yet to be solved. Therefore, the subjects of robotic surgery in cranial and spinal surgery have been discussed separately. Cranial robotic applications focus more on stereotactic applications, which decrease calculation errors. On the other hand, spinal robotic surgery concentrates on spinal navigation systems, which decrease targeting mistakes. Anahtar Kelimeler : Neurosurgery, Spinal surgery, Robotic surgery, Stereotaxy
