Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a global health problem that has continued its importance worldwide in the 21st century. In TBI, which affects the life of the patient and the family in a serious way and leads to multiple medical, cognitive, behavioral, economic and social consequences, the first target is to prevent damage. Multidisciplinary neurorehabilitation is very important to limit the effect after the damage has developed, and to speed up and increase functional recovery. Numerous medical, cognitive and behavioral problems associated with head trauma should be carefully evaluated, and it is very important to plan treatment for each individual to increase the possibility of reintegration into the community. Neurorehabilitation is therefore a constantly evolving area. As we learn more about the brain"s ability to recover, new therapeutic interventions and rehabilitation theories will emerge.
