Trigonocephaly is a type of craniosynostosis that can inhibit brain development, as well as causing cosmetic problems and psychomotor problems later in life due to early closure of the metopic suture in infancy. It may be isolated or may appear as part of a complex syndrome or a genetic problem. Hypotelorbitalism, biparietal enlargement, fronto-temporal constriction, supraorbital and lateral orbital regression, and midline forehead spine-like appearance are typical findings in trigonocephaly. Multidisciplinary approach is the gold standard in the diagnosis and treatment. Patient management can range from observational follow-up with radiology to treatment with complex surgeries. In this review, the imaging, indexes and treatment methods are explained in addition to the definition, symptoms, and findings.
