1İstanbul Üniversitesi ? Cerrahpaşa, Cerrahpaşa Tıp Fakültesi, Beyin ve Sinir Cerrahisi Anabilim Dalı, İstanbul, Türkiye Parasagittal meningiomas constitute 21-31% of all intracranial meningiomas. Parasagittal meningiomas tend to occur where arachnoid granulations are more dense, and approximately 15% of tumors present with superior sagittal sinus (SSS) invasion. SSS infiltration is the main factor for recurrence of parasagittal meningiomas and is one of the important factors determining the strategy in the treatment of these lesions. The treatment of parasagittal meningiomas is changing from radical tumor resection and sinus reconstruction surgery to safe subtotal resection and adjuvant treatment approaches. With this change, there has been a decrease in mortality and morbidity related to surgery. The trend towards radiosurgery is becoming more widespread, developing and contributing to the treatment of patients. It is necessary to follow up randomized studies examining the long-term results of adjuvant treatments. Anahtar Kelimeler : Parasagittal meningiomas, Superior sagittal sinus, Adjuvant treatment
