Cerebral "Digital Subtraction Angiography" is used in the diagnosis and treatment of intracranial vascular diseases and lesions. The use of endovascular treatment techniques has become widespread in recent years with the technological developments and has made very important progress. Neurovascular pathologies (aneurysm, arteriovenous malformation, stenosis, arteriovenous fistula) are defined by cerebral angiography. Especially in aneurysm surgery, intraoperative evaluation, planning of neurointerventional procedures, or post-treatment follow-up can be evaluated. Today, endovascular treatment techniques have been accepted as the primary option for most intracranial aneurysms. Hybrid vascular approaches, which combine endovascular techniques with microsurgery and stereotaxic radiosurgical techniques, have gained widespread acceptance in recent years. These approaches are used in the treatment of intracranial aneurysm, arteriovenous malformation, and arteriovenous fistula. It is also widely used in the surgery of tumors with high vascularity. Today, hybrid operating rooms, where both endovascular techniques and microsurgical techniques can be applied simultaneously, have also been put into use in advanced centers in these areas.
