As a natural consequence of increasing life expectancy and aging of the population, cervical degenerative diseases are common pathologies in spinal surgery practice. During the surgical approach to these pathologies, intraoperative imaging is extremely important for the correct application of the surgical technique and the success of the surgery. Intraoperative imaging should be used to ensure surgical success in the surgery of cervical spinal degenerative diseases. As in all spinal approaches, radiographic imaging of the cervical spine during cervical spine surgery is essential and it is recommended and routinely used by spine surgeons. In these operations, it is essential to transfer surgical knowledge and experience to ensure the success of the surgery and to perform safe surgery. For this purpose, C-arm Fluoroscopy, O-arm/O-arm-based navigation systems, Robotic Surgery with CT Navigation, and Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring are the intraoperative imaging methods used.
