1Trakya Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi, Beyin ve Sinir Cerrahisi Ana Bilim Dalı, Edirne, Türkiye Radiculopathy caused by cervical disc herniation is a common pathology in neurosurgery practice, and treatment is attempted with conservative treatment methods such as drugs, physical therapy, and orthoses. When these treatments are unresponsive, cervical spinal injections can be administered before moving on to surgical treatment options. While there is good evidence of the effectiveness of cervical epidural injections in the literature, it has not been found effective in central stenosis and myelopathy. Epidural injections are performed in the cervical region with two basic techniques, i.e., transforaminal and interlaminar routes. The steps to both techniques are well defined. Proper training and meticulous technical execution are essential to avoid the rare but potentially fatal complications of cervical injections.
