Choice of the appropriate surgical approach to the pineal region remains a challenge. Surgery in this region is complicated by the depth of field and complexity of the venous anatomy. Wide exposure with minimal brain retraction is a desired goal. The supracerebellar, occipital - transtentorial and transsinus approaches were compared anatomically. Fifteen cadaveric head specimens were injected with colored silicon and was discussed with literature. Anahtar Kelimeler : The pineal region, Supracerebellar, Occipital - transtentorial, Transsinus
