The Excision of Intradural Tumor Via Laminoplasty

Erciyes Üniversitesi, Nöroşirürji Anabilim Dalı, Kayseri, Türkiye Laminoplasty is a technique which was made for intraspinal pathology with replacement of the posterior spinal arch and supporting elements. Laminoplasty has been develeoped to prevent the formation of adhesion surrounding tissue, membrane of laminectomy, instability and kyphosis in intraspinal patology after laminectomy. Replacement of laminar roof with this technique is safe, well-suitable and offers distinct advantages over laminectomy. Also, recurrent surgery for recurrence of tumor is easy and safe with preserve posterior anatomic landmarks and without spinal instability and scar tisssue invasion.
