Arachnoid cysts are tought to be congenital intraarachnoid malformations of meninges. Most of them are clinicaly silent and discovered incidentaly. Rarely they can be related with subdural haematoma and can cause a morbidity and mortality. In the literature, there are many treatment options exist about subdural heamatomas related to arachnoid cysts such as burr hole drainage only, craniotomy with membranectomy, endoscopic cyst fenestration and cystoperitoneal shunting. Because of the high mortaliy and morbidity rates with treatment options other than burr hole drainage, most authors recommend the other treatment methods in cases where burr hole drainage fails. In this paper, we report the 46 months follow up results of 3 cases treated with only burr hole drainage. Anahtar Kelimeler : Arachnoid cyst, Subdural haematoma, Burr hole drainage
