S.B. Haydarpaşa Numune Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi, Beyin ve Sinir Cerrahisi Kliniği, İstanbul Meningiomas are 90% supratentorial and most commonly seen in the parasagittal and falx locations. Treatment of parasagittal and falx meningiomas is surgical. The complete removal of the tumour is the goal of the surgery but is not possible in every case. The patient's preoperative condition, location of the meningioma, resection degree, histology of the meningioma and treatment method mainly define the prognosis but a small meningioma (< 4.5 cm), total excision, benign histology and the patient's good preoperative condition indicate a good prognosis.
