Supratentorial Primary Malignant Melanoma: A Case Report

Primary malignant melanomas can be seen rarely in central nervous system. Primer melanocytic tumors originating from melaocytes localizated in central nervous system. Melanomas classified three pathological process; leptomeningeal melanosis, neurocutenous melanosis, localized pigmented tumors (melanocytoma and primer malignant melanoma). Localized pigmented tumors, primer malignant melanoma which rarest and most agressive showed intense immunoreactivity for S 100 and HMB45. Primary malignant melanomas are usually found in regions filled with melanocytes anterior and posterior side of spinal cord and base of skull. Supratentorial lacalization of this tumors are uncommon.
