Intradural mature teratomas are very rare lesions. The diagnosis is usually complicated due to the rarity of these tumors. Since there are no specific radiological findings to diagnose mature teratoma, histopathologic examination of the lesion is required for a definitive diagnosis. In this study, a 38-year-old patient, who was admitted with the complaint of erectile dysfunction, was diagnosed to have an intradural mass lesion at the level of the conus medullaris on MRI scan. The tumor was completely resected by microsurgery. Histopathological examination revealed a mature teratoma. The postoperative course was uneventful. Within 2 months after the operation, the patient completely recovered without any complaints. To date, there are still no signs of relapse. In this paper, clinical, radiological and pathological features of these rare lesions, and diagnostic and therapeutic methods were discussed along with the literature.
