Marmara Üniversitesi Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi, Nöroşirürji Anabilim Dalı, İstanbul, Türkiye Pineal region tumors constitute 3-8% of childhood intracranial tumors. Many different types of tumors may be observed. Germ cell tumors are the largest group. The other lesions origin from pineal cells and surrounding tissues. Different treatment modalities according to tumor type should be performed.
