Intracranial germ cell tumors are rare malignant tumors that constitute 0.1–3.4% of all intracranial tumours. A germinoma is the most common type and makes up approximately 50-60% of intracranial germ cell tumors. Intracranial germ cell tumors most frequently arise in the midline axis from the pineal region to the suprasellar cistern. Synchronous pineal and suprasellar germinomas are extremely rare and constitute 5-10% of all intracranial germ cell tumors. The number of synchronous tumor cases has increased in recent years due to the more frequent use of MRI for the diagnosis. Germinomas are very radiosensitive and usually have a favourable prognosis. We present the features of and treatment options for unifocal and bifocal germinomas in this paper. Anahtar Kelimeler : Germ cell tumor, Germinoma, Pineal gland, Suprasellar region, Synchronous
