Hacettepe Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Çocuk Hastalıkları Anabilim Dalı Nefroloji Ünitesi, ANKARA A retrospective study of 57 polyarterities nodosa (PAN) patients who were followed at Hacettepe Children's Hospital Nephrology Department were evaluated in order to delineate the neurologic manifestations. In 13 out of 57 patients central nervous system, in six peripheral nervous system, in four cranial nerve involvement were seen. The sum of 23 out of 57 patients (%40) presented with the neurological manifestations. In this study we emphasize that the heterogeneity and complexity of neurologic manifestations and also the benefit of steroid and/or cydophosphamid treatment in PAN.
