1Ankara Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi, Beyin ve Sinir Cerrahisi Anabilim Dalı, Ankara, Türkiye Mutiple meningioma (MM) is defined as the presence of at least two simultaneous or consecutive meningiomas located in independent intracranial regions. MM may be sporadic, familial or due to radiation exposure; it is more common in women. Treatment of multiple meningiomas remains controversial today. In the context of surgical treatment, the approach to MM cases is not different from the principles of approach to solitary meningiomas. Patient age, comorbidities, clinical symptoms, tumor location and size, and whether there is a mass effect are the main criteria that guide the treatment. It is advised to evaluate each tumor separately and to remove the symptomatic lesion. In cases where total resection is not possible or complete for any reason, adjuvant therapies should be evaluated. Anahtar Kelimeler : Meningioma, Multiple, Neurofibromatosis, Resection, Simpson
