EEG FINDINGS IN SHUNTED HYDROCEPHALUS CASES

Nöroloji Anabilim Dalı In contrast to the vast literature concerning mechanical, technical, infectious and thromboembolic complications of shuntig procedures, only sporadic reports have appeared concerning the EEG abnormalities and epileptic seizures. Furthermore the results of these studies have been conflicting. In this study EEG findings of 25 cases with shunted hydrocephalus is interpreted and discussed in the light of literature.
